IICB email thread

So, I pretended to be Christopher McDonald to bait the IICB into talking about the xaiobeetle, and it turned out it was easier than I thought it'd be:

Enjoy!

Kenyan,

Saw your panel at the WHIC last week -- thought you might be looking for a North American synthesisizer for the beetle. Are you ready to produce?

A little about our company: We shipped over three million vaccine units last year, and have capacity for ten or more coming online next month. I think IICB's product line would be a great fit for us.

As you probably know, we use a streptococcus pneumoniae process that sidesteps the mercury contamination and gulf syndrome worries. You just end up with a little xantham gum in the mix, and since it's already a food product -- well, you know the drill.

Let me know what you think!

Chris,

I didn't realize I mentioned the xaiobeetle at the World Health Innovation Conference, but we are indeed a few weeks away from being good to go.

Did we meet at the conference?

I saw your panel and visited the booth, but I didn't get a chance to meet you. But maybe you saw me -- I was the one stuffing free conference pens into his tote bag. They make great stocking-stuffers at Christmas : )

That's great news about the xaiobeetle vaccine. If there's anyway for us to help, let me know -- send any RFPs my way.

Also -- out of curiousity, where did you perform clinical trials?

Chris,

The money wasted on health conference shwag astonishes.

We have already sourced a vaccine producer, and we hope to have just one central production and distribution system. But we may find that, mostly for fda and administration purposes, it's easier to go with a domestic producer in each market. We did randomized field studies at rural health centers. They are not as pretty as ones performed in clinical settings, but they actually build a stronger case for the efficacy.

Thank you for your offer. I am sure to keep your information on file and will reach out to you should we need a US producer.

Thank you,
Kenyan
